Knitability offers a wide range of hand knitting products designed to take knitters to the next level. From patterns to kits, hard to find items to handmade gifts, there is something for knitters of all levels.
New for 2008, all Knitability Skill Builder patterns have a teacher's curriculum available. The curriculum includes detailed teacher's notes including a variety of scheduling options and a CD with a variety of marketing materials to simplify to advertising the class.
Skill Builder knitting patterns are unique to Knitability and are developed around our motto "Taking Knitters to the Next Level..." Skills are explained with full color pictures and detailed descriptions.

- Buttons are all fused art glass buttons and are of limited quantity
- Bags & Cases feature our standard vinyl packaging and specialty containers
- Miscellanous is everything else including purse/bag hardware and a variety of knitting notions.
Education is probably the most important component of the Knitability business plan as we strive to have everything we develop focus on our motto of "Taking Knitters to the Next Level".

Behind the Scenes of Knitability
Knitability has been a going concern since October 2001. As such, Knitability has a bit of a history that you might be interested in. The history of the face behind Knitability, Gwen Bortner, can be found in her biography along with information about all her loves. Her greatest passion, teaching can be seen in Gwen's philosophy as a knitting teacher. She also shares her love of teaching, designing and being an entrepenuer through various blogs and the Knitability News Newsletter.
