The eye glass case allows the knitter to begin practicing on a smaller project and begins with several rows of purling to get comfortable with the stitch followed by several simple stitch patterns utilizing a combination of knit and purl stitches. The purse explores more combinations and is knit in a single piece and then folded and seamed to form the purse shape.
