Knit Mitten Pattern
A 3 in 1 pattern for hand knit mittens. All three styles of knit mittens are felted to size upon completion to provide
additional warmth and weather protection.
Hand Jive - Skill Builder
First just knit mittens. The dense fabric that results from the felting process turns a knit mitten into a mitten that is practically waterproof. Then try the fingerless style
when delicate jobs require dexterity. They are surprisingly warm, even with ends of your fingers exposed! Next try the flip top style (known as fisherman mittens) with attached finger covers for
warmth while waiting to get the job started. These are the perfect blending of the two allowing for easy access, without the constant exposure to the elements.
All three styles of knit mittens are felted to size upon completion to provide
additional warmth and weather protection. Originally designed by Jeanne Abel as an instructional tool, many key skills are explained in detail with accompanied with full-color photos.
