Design Basics

Description: Designing a basic sweater is really just about completing some easy arithmetic. Even the greatest of math-phobics and do it! Learn the simple steps used in creating a basic shaped tank top and begin your journey to creating your own designs. It really is about starting off with good measurements!
Supplies: Homework swatch, calculations and measurements, print out of the handout, calculator and pencil or pen.
Homework: 6" x 6" swatch in the yarn and stitch pattern of your choice laundered as you would a garment made from the swatch fabric. Calculate the stitches and rows per inch. Complete the measurement sheet included with your handout.
Duration: 2 hours per session - 1 session
