Fun to knit and fun to wear, this sweater with its highly textured cable knit fabric easily converts from a trendy cropped sweater to a classically styled tunic.

Inspired by a sweater worn by a one-time character on Star Trek: The Next Generation, this sweater pattern features a braided cable ribbed pattern as well as an intricate woven cable pattern on both the front and back of the sweater.
The braided rib pattern create a the look of a custom fit without all the complexity. Although originally designed as an off-the-shoulder sweater in a cropped length, the pattern can be easily adapted to feature a funnel neck and/or a longer body length. Perfect for knitters of both trendy and classic styles.
