Knitting Newsletter

The Knitability News is our Consumer Newsletter and when I am on top of things, it is published 5 - 6 time per year. It gives information about what is happening with Knitability, new product annoucements, sales & specials along with helpful hints and other information. If you would like to be a part of our list, please sign up for our knitting newsletter at the bottom of the page! All new subscribers will receive a free pattern in their e-mail later in the week!

2008

Volume 7; Issue 1   Everything old is new again. It turned out to be the theme for our new line and it may turn out to be the theme for the year! Find out what's new for 2008 and get your free knitting pattern.

2007

Volume 6; Issue 5   It is the season of giving and Knitability has a number of quick knit projects that make fabulous gifts. And our gift to you? Well read on and get a gift from us to you -- Happy Holidays

Volume 6; Issue 4   Get those needle clicking, it is knitting season. And with knitting season come lots of opportunities to take classes and get started on those holiday gifts.

Volume 6; Issue 3   There is so much new at Knitability and we are so excited. Look at our newest entrelac design, the Grab and Go Bag as well as the beautiful jacket, Everyday Elegance.

Volume 6; Issue 2  Spring means freshness and spring cleaning. We cleaning out discounted stock and have already updated the new look of the Knitability website. Find out about Gwen's writing aspirations at the Knitting Professor.

Volume 6; Issue 1  We are moving up to the next level too! Our first issue of 2007 announces our whole new look for Knitability.com. We also unveil new products just released for the TNNA show in San Diego. And it is not too late to join the fun of the Sample Stitch Kimono Knit-a-long!

2006

Volume 5; Issue 2  Join the fun and be a part of the Sample Stitch Kimono Knit-a-long starting in January 2007. Or join me in sharing your love of knitting by being a part of the Knitability Club. Welcome to Knitting Season.

Volume 5; Issue 1  Well, we have been out of the loop, but we are back and with a whole new look. Look for an updated list of specials and visit my new site, the Knitting Professor featuring Professor Gwen. The new format should be printable!

2005

Volume 4; Spring 2005  Sorry we have been missing in action, but there are changes afoot.  See all the ways that Knitability is taking knitters to the next level.  Add your own favorite knitting get together to our list.  Find a great tip for teaching new knitters. 

2004

Volume 3; Fall 2004  See what is new for the Fall Season.  Locate other knitters that share your love of knitting.  Find a free pattern for kitchen accessories.  And check out the latest information on the Knitability Teacher's Retreat 2005. 

Volume 3; Summer 2004  Get a jump on knitting those holiday gifts.  Check out the book reviews of The Purl Stitch and Knitting in the Old Way.  Find directions for the ultimate summer accessory.  And introducing -- Knitability logo merchandise

Volume 3; Spring 2004  Knitability has COTTON and several new designs for Spring!  Also learn how Knitability can help you share your love of knitting. 

2003

Volume 2; Holiday 2003  Part 4 (the lat installment) of the  Reversible Block Afghan project focuses on textured stitch patterns and provides directions for blocks 10 -12.  We also include some hints on blocking in our regular Increasing Your Knit Abilities column.  We have also introduced a new format, give it a try and give us some feedback!!

Volume 2; Fall 2003  Find out what is new in the Fall 2003 Line and the fashion forecast from our own expert Bev.  Learn about dropping stitches on purpose.   Part 3 of the  Reversible Block Afghan project focuses on wrapped and dropped stitch patterns and provides directions for blocks 7 - 9 are given.

Volume 2; Summer 2003  Just in time for Summer knitting, Knitability now has two new sock yarns.  Learn about the loop holes of knitting lace.  Part 2 of the  Reversible Block Afghan project focuses on lace patterns and directions for blocks 4 -6 are given.

Volume 2; Spring 2003  Spring has Sprung in the  Knitability News.  Learn how to combine colors like the experts.  The 4-Part Reversible Block Afghan project is introduced and directions for blocks 1 -3 (Part I) are given.

Volume 2; Winter 2003  Knitability has moved!  Knitability News has the scoop on our new location.  We also share helpful hints on how to make the most of the upcoming  tradeshows.  Knitability News shares a sneak peek into our new Spring 2003 line.

2002

Volume 1; Holiday 2002  For the Holidays, Knitability News shares great gift ideas to give and receive.  We also reveal the winners from our Learn to Knit months drawing and provide you direction on how to teach yourself to knit backwards!

Volume 1; Fall 2002 The Fall issue of Knitability News features information on "Learn to Knit" month.  Information is also provided on swatches and calculating gauge, a complete teaching/vendor schedule and a recipe for a tasty taco salad.

Volume 1; Summer 2002 The Summer issue of Knitability News features highlights of upcoming events, a complete list teaching/vendor schedule and directions and options for the knitting term SSK (Slip, Slip Knit).

Volume 1; Spring 2002 This is our initial newsletter.  Highlights include a listing of upcoming "Night in the Woods" events, how to pick up stitches and a recipe for quick and easy chili.
